   What Is Data Recovery?

   Data recovery at CITS is a system of processes used to recover lost  data from storage media, including
   hard disk drives.
   Data Recovery should be performed by professional experts, with the   aid of advanced and sophisticated
   testing equipments.  Data Recovery is the process of recovering lost data from a storage   media format
   caused by many data loss factors such as virus attacks,   data corruption, physical malfunctions, human
   error or natural disasters.

   For example; if your hard disk produces clicking sound or is not spinning,  it requires data recovery.

   How do I know that I need a data recovery service?

      Hard drive motor does not spin or it appears to be silent.

      Hard drive spins but bios or Windows can no longer recognise  the drive.

      The motor spins and the bios can recognise the drive but windows   or Linux is not mounting the drive.

      The computer locks at boot.

      Black spots on the board that look like burns.

      The Hard disk is producing click sounds.

   details required to perform data recovery. While some projects may require several days, even weeks,
   about 80% of all cases require less than 3 business days for completetion of data recovery processes.

   Is there any charge for data recovery evalutation process?

   No, there is no charge for the evaluation process even if Clean  Room Assessment is required. Some cases
   oblige us to open the   drive in Clean Room to investigate and evaluate internally faulty hard disk drives.

   Can I get my retrieved data in same structure, folder and   file names?

   In most cases, CITS will return your data with the same file names,  data type structure and location as
   before the disk failure.  Yet, there are some rare cases where the names of some folders may   be changed;

   Prices are totally dependant on the nature of the problem, time-span,   size and type of the drive;
   cost is independent to the amount of data that should be recovered.
   CITS will quote you the price before the beginning of the data recovery process; however;
   CITS recovery processes are charged much less than outside Lebanon, in most cases our prices are
   55% less than other data recovery companies abroad.
